If you’re going to say “I do” after jumping out of a plane, you might as well do it in Las Vegas. In her article in Westjet’s up! Magazine, Dena Braun turned us on to Vegas Extreme Skydiving who perform skydiving weddings.

You can learn more about their wedding packages here, but here’s our executive summary:

They offer three different options for your skydiving wedding. The first option has your wedding occurring before the jump. After the ceremony the bride and groom go up in the plane and the guests are escorted to the landing zone.

The second option has the bride and groom jumping together and the ceremony is held at the landing zone after the jump is complete. The third option is the most extreme. Their “Skydiving Preacher” marries the couple during the plane ride up.

Wedding packages start at $1299 and include a dvd of the experience, flowers, and champagne. You can also add high quality photography for an additional cost.

So upon further review, it doesn’t seem like you can get married in mid air but you can get pretty close. But who knows, maybe we’re wrong. Does anybody know of anyone that does weddings in mid air?
